How to Maintain Your Focus For God

The present World is full of so much darkness, it’s looks like no absolute joy can come from this world. With the high increase in disasters, death, sickness, evil, distractions, hate, lies and social media. It’s becomes difficult to stay focused on What God has planned for us.
In 2 Corinthians Chp 4 vs 18. The Bible talks about us keeping our focus on him and not on the World. Because the things which are seen are temporary but God’s promise for us is external.

One of the best ways to stay focused on God is Your Love for him. How much do you love him? How much Value do you place on the word of God. These are questions that should drive your thinking. I will give a simple illustration, when you love or attach much credence to a particular thing it could be sport, tv show, food eg; You find out that you can’t go a day without craving for those things. You are always hungry for what’s next. That’s because you love it, that’s the same thing that happens when you love God. When your love is stayed on Christ, you can’t go a day without spending time to commune with God, study and pray. It’s like you can’t afford to miss a day of study. You are always thinking of doing God’s business first. That’s because you love him, and when you love God, you put your mind and resources to that which you love.

Loving Christ is the first step to keep your self focused on him. Because he placed so much value on You and he wants you to cast all your cares, worries on him, because he loves you. Seeing him as your friend, father, sister etc, that you can always run to and commune at anytime. You don’t have to feel like it to commune with him every second of the day. He wants to hear that very little idea.

Make a conscious effort to love God, and put his business as a priority over anything. That’s where he truly reveals himself or who he is to you.I

Studying the scripture daily is sure way is a sure way to keep your focus on him.

Prayer that is talking to God on a daily basis through the Holy spirit is a major way of maintaining your focus for God.
